QUEENSBURGH CHESHIRE HOME

Queensburgh Cheshire Home is the oldest Home in South Africa, and has been caring for and supporting residents with physical disabilities since 1965. Located 10 minutes from Durban in Queensburgh in KwaZulu-Natal, the home strives to assist adult live-in residents who require significant aid with their daily living. The staff aim to enhance quality of life by assisting residents to become as independent as their disabilities will allow.

We recently donated paint which was used to improve the exterior of the building, and had a lovely morning spoiling the residents with tea and cake, and giving them each a “Love Bag” filled with toiletries.

June 2017 saw us donating more paint to Queensburgh Cheshire Home.  We also got to see the new hut that 31 Club had organised and paid for. It is used to store all the clothing donations for their thrift clothing shop.
