Our ladies were busy visiting Charities yesterday. First at Tafta, John Conradie where they blessed the residents with Love Bags and tea time treats. Then it was off to Umduduzi home for children with drug resistant TB where beautiful knitted beanies were given to the patients.
The ladies of 31 Club were busy today – we delivered some snuggly warm duvets to Swelihle Creche, sponsored 67 Subz Packs for Project Dignity, and spent time blessing the frail care residents at Natal Settlers Home in Durban with much needed Love Bags. What an enjoyable day!
This project is very close to the heart for 31 Club, and the transformation over the past few months is incredible. These upgrades will make the world of difference to the children and teachers at this lovely little Creche. Take a look at more pictures.
What a wonderful and emotional morning we had when 31 Club handed over a laptop computer to Amanda Manqele, a very deserving student who is studying to become a teacher with the help of Hillcrest Advice Bureau.
